I love Lip Inflation

Everytime I walked into Watsons, I was tempted to get myself a lip plumper. Some of u mite question why the hell do I need a lip plumper for?! Well.. thanx to icons like Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz, I too have fallen into the category of wanting a more luscious lips. Silly. I know these are just advtg and pr techniques of making a product more sellable. I fell for the trap. Ok.. not exactly true. Eversince trying out Yana’s lip plumper gloss, I fell in love with it.

The product – Sally Hansen’s Lip Inflation Gloss (S$18.90).

I was surprised that a brand famous for its hand grooming product came up with a lip plumper series. Nevertheless, I love it! I love it, not because it adds volume to my lips (not that I think my lips need volumizing). I love how it gives my lips a glossy look and added bonus abt the lip inflation gloss is that it gives a minty and tingling sensation. I love the cooling effect it has on my lips. Its like putting axe oil on my lips. LOL!

Seriously.. I have very dry lips and this gloss together with my trusted Vaseline Lip Therapy Balm (S$3.30) in Cherry flavour is a miracle worker for my lips.

SiteX 2007

This year’s SiteX was held at the Singapore Expo on 29th Nov to 2nd Dec. AS always, Sitex is a blast to head to basically of its year-end promotions. Thanks largely to the bonuses we got, the clearance of goods and also sale launch  of next year’s items were indeed a sight to behold. However, the crowd is getting more and more each year. Parking was a nightmare as people illegally parked along the whole stretch of the road. Movement was slow and one has to have an acquired sense of patience to manage the chaos. Certainly, the organisers have to review this problem although it didn’t help that there was also a John Little Clearance Sale.  But it was all worth the trouble as the sales and offers never disappoint. Ranging from monitors, tvs, printers, laptops, desktops, game consoles, handphones associated with big brands such as Sony, Canon, Nikon, Asus, Lenovo, HP, Compaq, Samsung, Xbox and many more.

Indeed, i myself have bought a couple of items.

  • 3 Digital Cameras
  • 1 Printer
  • 2 Thumbdrives

Here are a few tips when heading for a computer exhibition.

  1. Have a list of what you would like to buy; not having one causes a tendency to overspend and splurge.
  2. Do a review or read up on several of the items before heading to the exhibition. Not only will it speed things up, it also ensures you know the capability of the item.
  3. Look out for promotions and sales. Enquire the service staff about deals. Also, try to bargain for a lower price or even extra free goodies. Promotions changes on different days and they are more likely to let go of things when it’s on the last day.
  4. Enjoy the crowd and expect to be bumper back to back.
