Women desires thick full set of long curled lashes. With the numerous range of mascaras available out there, now it is possible. It is really irritating when your boyfriend has a nicer pair of eyelashes. Among other girls that I know and from the random women that I’ve met, my lashes are considered GOD send. To me, they are pathetic compared to Fairoz’s. Yes ladies! Fairoz has a wonderful set of long curled lashes (it’s in his Indian blood). Eyelashes are determined by your race and genes. For Chinese people they have (sorry to say) spastic looking spider legs as lashes. I am much more fortunate than that (thank GOD!) However, with a boyfriend who has a set of GORGEOUS eyes, I would be lying if I say that I don’t envy him for having such nice pair of eyes and lashes (spoiled by eyebags).

This is one of the reasons why I am in love with mascaras. Mascaras are magical wands which can immediately define my small eyes. A good mascara makes your set of lashes fuller and opens up your eyes. I am on a constant look out for a new mascara. I especially love the ones from Maybelline. Honestly, Maybelline is (according to me) the best out there and the most affordable. Mascaras from Maybelline I have tried are -> Volum’ Express Turbo Boost and the Full ‘n’ Soft (not available in Singapore).

Volum’ Express Turbo Boost (S$14.90)

However, Maybelline has probably perfected the mascara technology to have one of its mascaras named as the No.1 mascara in America. The mascara I’m talking about ladies, is the pink and green iconic tube mascara, GREAT LASH. 

Great Lash is an all purpose mascara. It volumes and lengthen and curls at the same time. True to its name ‘GREAT LASH’, this mascara provides with an all-in-one effect.

GREAT LASH (the mascara that conditions as it thickens)

• Lash-doubling formula glides on smooth to build great-looking lashes.
• Lash building brush makes it easy to get a full lash look without clumps or globs.

Unfortunately for us Singaporeans, it is not available here. However, we can still get it through ebay and I got mine at a bargain for ONLY S$12.90 including postage. Still, the GREAT LASH has its cons. It needs quite some time to get used to as the brush is slightly different from all the mascaras I’ve used. Also, like all other mascaras it still needs to be wiped off tissue before applying. But from Fai’s comment, he said my lashes looked separated, no clumps, thicker, longer, more curl and best of all, it doesn’t look FAKE.

So far, I’m loving GREAT LASH!
