Black Beauty: LG KS20

Well, Nurul is currently head over heels with this new phone. Don’t know why, cause i still love my Motorola V3XX. For all it’s imperfections, lost button pad and its surprisingly abnormal hanging; I still find it the perfect phone for me. Oh well!

The hype of the iPhone by Apple has already reached to it’s frenzy peak. Singaporean can’t wait for the phone to be released and i have already seen a few out there on the streets. Certainly being bought online or from helpful friends living overseas. I caught a glimpse of the iPhone (or rather I was peeping over this woman’s shoulder while eating dinner with Nurul at Eastpoint Banquet recently. Hehe! If the woman whom I peeped over is reading this, am sorry but you do have a nice phone. I saw nothing else. :) )

What can I say, but the iPhone really caught my eye. Ever since it’s launch in the US, it’s rival companies are making tonnes of copycats or “me too” phones. It seems the current in thing is to have a touch screen phone with a stylus. Am never one to easily buy into gimmicks but I do kinda like the style. However, practicality is more important to me than style.

Well recently Nurul went crazy over this new phone. She said why wait for the iPhone when you can have it now. We have been looking around for touch screen phones but the prices were either too high or it was inflexible or it had no stylus. However, she messaged me eagerly recently and went like “I FOUND THE PHONE I WANT!”

LG KS20

The LG KS20 is a small, lightweight, easy to use, fits snuggly in your hand and is pump packed with the essential hardware to make it to die for. Built in with a stylus that hides nicely in the phone, the look is essentially about class and style. The only drawback for the phone is that it leaves marks when u touch it’s screen with your fingers. Not to worry though, that can be easily solved by buying a matt protector cover. Doesn’t make it oily and certainly no fingerprints.

I still prefer I-phone though, never did like these copycat models much.. Matter of ethics, I suppose.

I’ve had the privilege to test out an Iphone a couple of weeks back, and I’ve fallen in love with it. You should try it too. It’s the bomb, man..

Oh and by the way, if anyone is looking for an Iphone, tell them to look for me. I can get one for $750. No contract. =)

Lol… copycat models… Will point out that LG made the KE850 before I-phone and that was fully touch screen. Anyways im not bothered about originality, I like size and the LG is smaller.
+If you know what your doin windows mobile pwns apple software. I can get a full qwery keyboard input and every gimmick the I-phone has with the LG. Ohh… the I phone isnt 3G is it? Again not that it matters much in the mobile world atm.

Well to sum up my opinion after 2 years I dont want to be forced to send a decent phone back to the manufacturer for a week just to get my new battery.

Sorry Apple your a cool alternative, but never pratical enough.
