The World’s Wildest Architecture

I love buildings and structures. I still remember a time when Nurul was still doing her University degree, we went all around Singapore taking pictures of buildings architecture. It was for one of her modules on art and that includes Baroque designs and we set forth taking pictures in Singapore that covered the aspect of Baroque architecture. Such a building is Park View Square or Gotham Building at Bugis. I remember it’s unique gargoyles and statues of philosophical thinkers and inventors like Plato and Newton. Also it’s beautiful interior decor. Indeed, an amazing building that took quite a feat to take pictures of it.

Well, read this article posted at MSN Travel : The World’s Wildest Architecture

It has many unique and quirky buildings that reminded me of the Cake House at Hollywood. Also, it has the famous Casa Batllo in Barcelona.

Interestingly, Nurul did a write up on this building. So i couldn’t help but fathom the coincidence of seeing it in this article.

Hope you enjoy the article.

  1. I work at Parkview Square, haha!

Have you heard of the Winchester Mystery House in the US? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_Mystery_House

  2. FaiNur says:

Fai : Haha! Really? Cool. I was nearly chased out from the building as i kept on taking pictures of the infrastructure. I am like, why then do u build such a beautiful building if it is not meant to be appreciated? Go figure.

  3. Yes, the security guards are very strict about people taking pictures of the building…haha. You gotta be fast! ;)

The security is pretty tight because there are a few embassys located within the building, I guess. :) Can’t help it. The guards are all pretty friendly, though. Greeting you ‘good morning’ and all that. Friendliest security guards I’ve encountered. Mwahahah.

Fai : Oh, that figures. Hehe. Yeah, i was kinda taking my time. I really thought it was a museum. Hehe. They are friendly to you cause they recognise you. As for me, they send me a shudder of cold emotions.
