Petrol Prices Up!

I had just finished my dinner at Al-Amin near Upper Changi Road . It was a filling meal (one day i will write up a post on it.) and was happily slowly walking back home when i passed by Shell Petrol Station. I was shocked and flabbergasted (Couldn’t help taking the pun with our dear Home Minister Wong Kan Seng words of wisdom.) The prices all went up with Shell 98 coming at $2.310 per litre.

Casual meets Formal

A wonderful day for a wonderful person (especially Nurul’s Birthday!), everything must be perfect. From gifts to events to food and most importantly the attire! It took me quite a while to decided what should i wear for Nurul’s birthday. (You can say like a month!) Different clothes, mix matches with different themes kept on interplaying within my mind. I wanted to have something new to impress Nurul. Unfortunately i was low on cash due to the event thus i had to improvise. I was about to sought back to the Floral Zara shirt when lightning stuck me. Finally, i came up with this. Nice, ain’t it?

I guess you all should have known by now that i brought Nurul to Chako Japanese Restaurant for her birthday.

So what is Chako?

It’s a quaint rustic totally authentic and the best Japanese restaurant that I have ever tasted in Singapore. Chako is run by a nice Japanese family that certainly serves home-made original scrumptious meals. And the big plus point is that their HALAL (no cert tho. The food is halal but they do sell alcoholic drinks.) A gem of a place and you can feel the difference with just one bite. Indeed, it revealed to me that Genki Sushi & Ramen Ten are pure frauds to the real deal. Just have a taste of Chako’s sushi and you will immediately know what i mean!
