Hehe. What? I know, i know. Am trying to cut down on fast food. However, i couldn’t resist the other day when i saw the ad of Kung Fu Panda (Must catch it soon!) Promotion of Golden Onion Rings ( I was fasting as well on that day so had a few temptations; Onion Rings being one of them.) It looked soooo juicy and crunchy that it cause me to salivate immediately.
I love the ones at Burger King however at times, you can taste that the onion rings are cold and a little stale causing me to turn away from it at time to time. Well, i had high expectations of it and we went to have our dinner at Plaza Singapura. I ordered the meal consisting of the Golden Onion Rings, Spicy Chicken Nuggets & coke.
The moment I sat down with Nurul, we immediately tasted the Onion Rings. The taste was undesirable. Although it was the right amount of flour and the whole usage of an onion ring was indeed nice, they used the wrong type of onion which had a weak effect taste that left us to not even finish it. Nurul informed me that they should have used the Japanese Onion which was much sweeter and crunchier.
Following the disappointment, we sat there thinking and judging whether the chicken nuggets will bring yet another disappointment. I got some curry & also barbecue sauce while Nurul wanted to taste the nugget by itself.
MAGNIFIQUE! The Spicy Chicken Nuggets preceeded our expectations especially with the crunchy taste still present and yet super hot and spicy! You dont even need chilli sauce as it immediately burnt our tongues like chilli padi. The taste lingers although Nurul kinda not like that the spiciness only builds by the 2nd nugget. It left me hot, perspiring, burning sensation on my tongue. And yet, I only knew this, I HAD TO HAVE ANOTHER NUGGET!
Hehe! So head on down to McDonald’s and get a bite of the Spicy Chicken Nuggets ( It’s so shiok, you’ll be begging for more.) I advise to come along with a $2 Mc Chicken burger, the nuggets wouldn;t be enough to satisfy your diet.

Fai: Hehe. Hey, go and try the nuggets. Its very nice! But skip the onion rings, thats a dud. Green Tea is a definite no-no for me. To me, it’s a liquid not meant to be consumed by human beings.
