Well, its back with a bang once again. The Natas Travel Fair is here earmarked for the December Holidays Deals. To be held at the Singapore Expo from 1st to 3rd August, it surely is an event that i am looking forward to. What more can you ask from the wide array of travel companies under one roof, providing competitive pricing,  exotic locations travel tours and with many exuberant cash or travel gifts to sweeten the deals.

Soccer Olympics: Brazil 3 vs Singapore 0

Published by FaiNur under Lifestyle

Ronaldinho is back with a vengeance. I was there at the Singapore National Stadium (when the hell are they gonna break it down, even i don’t know the answer to that!) to watch Brazil vs Singapore. Two entirely different class and ranked teams that promised to be filled with action and certainly lots of samba footwork. Indeed, i wasn’t disappointed. In truth, bedazzled in a spell binding attacking flair is more like it. :)

My LeSportsac vanity

Published by FaiNur under Fashion

LeSportsac is one brand that I thought I would never spend my money on.

I’ve seen girls carrying the bag and how their gaudy and colourful LeSportsac bags usually clash with their bold and colourful outfits. So urmm.. confusing right? I believe that whenever you carry something messy, you should go with a plain outfit. That’s me though and my fashion sense states that I am supposed to follow it obligingly.

Opinions apart, I end up buying something from LeSportsac this month and I must say, I am no more a LeSportsac virgin. Haha!! Can’t help myself when their range of little pouches fit as a vanity bag comes in so adorable and cutesy colours.

X-Files: I want to Believe

Published by FaiNur under Lifestyle

Ahh! The X-Files: I want to Believe certainly brings back wonderful memories from my fat chubby geeky primary and secondary school days. I remembered how shows like Weird Science & The X-Files tweaked my mind into loving Science. I was an avid fan, making sure that i never missed a single episode. I would stop everything, even my homework, to ensure i catch the show at around 8:30pm on Channel 5. Who can forget Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), the straight thinking and ever so practical physician that will continuously question and disagree with Mulder’s perceptions. And how can we ever forget the star of the show Fox Mulder (David Duchovny)? The ever so cool Mulder with his slack get-up and ever intriguing, curiousity over paranormal investigations. Always choosing the weird cases with perceptions that there is a paranormal reason behind it.  Who can ever forget the poster pasted up on the wal screaming out words: I Want To Believe.

The Dark Knight: Batman

Published by FaiNur under Lifestyle

The much anticipated and eagerly awaited sequel to the smash hit “Batman Begins” certainly blew off with a huge bang last weekend as cinema goers all over Singapore ventured out in droves to catch the action filled but interestingly dark sequel “The Dark Knight”. Indeed, Tim Burton would have been proud of the new director Christopher Nolan reins as the focus is certainly to a grim Gotham with a rather eerily sense of nonchalant cynical humour in this movie’s plot.

Go Fresh with Men-U Facial Products

Published by FaiNur under Beauty

Well, you all probably would have know that i recently visited What He Wants: The only shop for men’s personal grooming needs at The Cathay. It’s a cool shop which all men should spend some time browsing and trying out the products on display.

You can thank Nurul for this review. I wasn’t personally interested in getting any products. (Although I was eyeing the super smooth shaving brush and the uber-cool shaver. More as vanity pleasures though.) I wasn’t eyeing any facial products as I was kinda happy with my Nivea for Men facial wash. But Nurul, with her ever gazing curiousity was looking at Men-U skin care products.
