Fall Fashion is already beginning to make its appearances in magazines and so does Fall Makeup. But here in sunny Singapore, Summer looks are still in. Well… At least for now.
The Body Shop just launched a limited edition makeup collection, Sun Drenched. The pretty bronzy packaging first caught my eyes; especially the Sun Lustre Bronzer (S$36.90) and the Sun Lustre Brush (S$29.90).
I couldn’t help myself for going over and give the samples a try. I definitely love the Sun Lustre Bronzer in Radiant Blush. I love how it gives my skin such a natural looking glow. I knew I had to get myself one even if it means burning a hole in my pocket. My bronzing powder obviously had to come with the pretty pretty Sun Lustre Brush. For such a pretty brush, the brush bristles are so soft and you can only count on The Body Shop to have a set of good quality makeup brush (my retractable blush brush is from The Body Shop).
Ok, so I thought I give it a couple of days until I’ve settled my monthly debts before splurging on my whims. Never did I expect, barely four days since its appearance on the shelves of The Body Shop, the Sun Drenched makeup collection is nearly empty. I of course had to get my hands on the second last Sun Lustre Bronzer in Radiant Blush before regretting that its sold-out elsewhere. As for the Sun Lustre Brush, I am not so lucky to be owning my very own beautiful brush yet. However, I shall hunt for it in every Body Shop tomorrow though.
Pretty and beautiful girls out there, just because the magazines are stating that Fall Fashion and Makeup are coming into town, that doesn’t mean we can’t indulge in Summer looks as and when we like. Singapore is a sunny island whereby we have “summer” all-year-round and that makes it alright for us to have summer looks any time.
