Go Fresh with Men-U Facial Products
Well, you all probably would have know that i recently visited What He Wants: The only shop for men’s personal grooming needs at The Cathay. It’s a cool shop which all men should spend some time browsing and trying out the products on display.
You can thank Nurul for this review. I wasn’t personally interested in getting any products. (Although I was eyeing the super smooth shaving brush and the uber-cool shaver. More as vanity pleasures though.) I wasn’t eyeing any facial products as I was kinda happy with my Nivea for Men facial wash. But Nurul, with her ever gazing curiousity was looking at Men-U skin care products.
Men-U : Performance Matters
Men-U actually originates from the land of Topman & Cadbury. Yes, that’s right. It comes from the shores of the UK! Surprisingly, it comes from a line of barbers and hair stylists that began this company due to Men’s facial grooming needs.
What caught Nurul’s eyes was the facial wash and moisturiser set. The set has received critical acclaims with recently winning Men’s Health 2008 Performance Product Awards! Also of it’s simple 2 step application of wash & moisturise only.
Both the facial wash and the moisturiser are unique as in they have an ultra concentration that is vital in delivering top performance & a large number of applications. Thus, enabling to keep the prices down to maintain cost-effectiveness. Indeed, that is shown in their prices.
I have used it for 3 weeks and have actually been a really GOOD BOY 
in diligently applying it every time when i wake up and before going to bed. Trust me, it works! During my first application of the facial wash, i was able to feel a burning sensation that cleans my face as I massage it thoroughly over my face. Application of the moisturiser cool & soothes the skin, giving it that protective and yet surprising lift that makes my face feel tight and supple.
What’s unique is that there is no guessing of how much to use. You simple press the pump fully once onto your palm which indicates the perfect amount to use. Trust me, it’s enough. Thus, this enables you to get up to 265 washes for the facial wash and up to 165 applications for the moisturiser. All thanks to their ultra high concentrations. (This statistic is actually proudly boasted on Men-U’s website)
Overall, after 3 weeks, i am really happy with the results. My pores are getting smaller and the best part is my ugly blackheads that made my nose as a wondeful hairy strawberry disappeared within a week. My face now feels fresh, cool & clean wherever i am. With the moisturiser, there is always this strange vibrant lift on my face (especially around the cheeks and forehead.)
I know Nurul loves smelling my face more nowadays! Hehe! Nothing beats having a woman caress and smelling your face. She goes likes, ‘It seems as though you’re putting your aftershave lotion everyday.’ Haha, Wrong Nurul! You gotta thank my Men-U facial product for that!
