Who can ever resist a toasty crispy waffle with ice cream and hot chocolate syrup melting soothingly over it? Haha. Have i caught your interest? Or at least cause your lips to drool with excitement at the thought of placing that scrumptious creamy waffle into your mouth? Haha! What can I say, I just love my food.
I remember my young days when my mom used to bring me to Bedok Community Library. A trip to the library is well sought after cause after filling my mind with tales by Christopher Pike, it only meant one thing. A trip to A&W! I miss that big old brown bear with their curly fries, root beer float and especially their hot toasty waffles with ice cream. Well, i missed those old days.However, have no fear as those days can be revisited soon. Nurul and I were exploring Suntec City with their new section when we found this cool waffle place.
Cottage Waffle Place
It’s a small quaint place tucked in right at the corner of Suntec on the 3rd floor before Eng Wah Cinema. What’s so unique about this place? Well, the waffles are actually made up as meals. Yes, you heard me right! You can eat your waffles with tuna, chicken, fish and with favourites like chocolate, butter honey, durian or with delightful Dreyers ice cream. Trust me, eating it with a scoopful of cookies and cream ice cream is to die for. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the sitting area is nice and chique although the chairs were a tad too low for me. I kinda like the combo we took which was waffle combo with drink and ice cream coming at $7. However, i have to say that the waffles is a little flat compared to Gelare’s or A&W. But, it is generously surrounded by the ice cream. Honestly, its a nice inexpensive place to have a delightful dessert with you loved ones while shopping at Suntec.

Food : 3/5 (Waffles are a little flat but the variety of toppings and ice cream makes it worth a try!)
Ambience : 3/5 (Nice, quaint, pleasant scene although the low chairs are a pain)
Service: 4/5 (Very attentive, friendly and youthful staff that makes it a pleasure indeed.)
Overall : 3.5/5 (Give it a try especially if you want to find a nice quiet place in the midst of Suntec hustle & bustle)
