At 6.58pm this evening, marks our final break fast this Ramadhan for the year 2008. At this point of time, every muslim around the world are celebrating our victory with the beginning of Syawal.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our fellow muslims, Eid Mubarak and Salam Aidilfitri.

WHAT A RACE INDEED! Bravo to Fernando Alonso and Team Renault for producing a spectacular and efficient race to trump top rivals McClaren & Ferrari. Special words of praise to Singapore too for producing a magnificent race filled with action, speed and style. Indeed, the best and toughest race in the whole F1 calendar this year.

Last month it finally broke. I tried salvaging it time and time again. This time however, the cobbler said it’s time to throw it away. Bah! 
There goes my strappy kitten heel red sandals from Pazzion. I was kind of devastated at first. I need a pair of red heels to match with my bag. What should I do?
While walking around with Fai earlier this month, I was looking around for new nice pair of red heels. I hunted from Takashimaya all the way to Bugis. No luck at all until… We spotted a nice elegant pair of red sandals from JWest at BHG Bugis.

What a week! What a week indeed!
To say that i am shocked is just a tip of the iceberg. I knew we would see more financial institutions come crashing down ever since the falls of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac & Citigroup. However, this week alone has indicated that the American Market is still reeling from their past Sub-Prime scandal. Especially this week with the fall of 158 year old Lehman Brothers, the merger of 94 year old Merrill Lynch with Bank of America & the recent Fed rescue of AIG.

Firstly, to all our fellow Muslim readers, have a wonderful Ramadhan. We have successfully cleared 15 days of fasting. Other than being a month of prayers & recitation of the Quran, it is also a special month where Nurul & I go from place to place to discover and taste new restaurants. I caught an ad in the newspaper recently in Berita Harian of a restaurant giving a special break fast offer. Thus, while driving around Bedok, pondering over what should we have to break fast, i then suggested to eat at J’s Wok & Grill Place. (Special thanks to Izwah for telling us the location of the place.)
