I’m becoming quite bold when it comes to makeup now. I’ve decided to try having my own EOTD (Eyes of the Day) now after “successfully” posting my FOTD post.
For a long time now I’ve been using my fingers to apply and blend my eyeshadows. The amateurish makeup artiste in me somehow always manages to feel quite satisfied of the final artwork. However, lately, after see-ing several FOTDs and EOTDs from beauty bloggers all around the world, I was inspired to have a pair of beautiful nice set of eyes (regardless of how tiny my eyes are). Hence, I decided to purchase a couple of eyeshadow brushes from Sasa.
With new beauty tools in my hand, I played around with the colours green and gold for one of my dearest and closest friend’s (Zandy’s) nikah (solemnisation) and green, pink and white (pearl) for her wedding luncheon.

For the colours green and gold, I managed to manoeuvre the brushes well (see-ing that it was my first time using brushes). I started with dark green eyeshadow blending it inwards and under the creases of my eyelids followed by gold eyeshadow from the corner of my eyes towards the green eyeshadow. I was actually quite proud of the end result although, in this picture you’re not able to see the green and gold.

For my second look, I tried a different colour to go with my green eyeshadows. I blended in pink and white (pearl). With this one, I wasn’t quite satisfied with it as towards the end I had a hard time blending in the pink and white (pearl) eyeshadows.
Anyways, I am still glad I bought my first ever eyeshadow brushes. Those tools really helped me with my eyeshadow colouring techniques. However, I still need a lot of improvement with them.
By the way, anyone can recommend the latest seasons of eyeshadow palettes and colours?
