Honestly, I love to wear sandals. I am into shoes, but at times, sandals just feel so good. Unfortunately, I have used my sandals too often. (Also thanks to my dad whom will always try to squeeze his size 14 feet into my size 11 sandals.) All my sandals have withered away with substantial usage torture. Well lucky for Raya, I have finally thrown away all of them. Yep, my Grey slippers, my Timberland sandals, my black omni sandals and my german orange sandals. All thrown into the dust bin. However, life proved difficult without my comfy sandals. It came to such a point that I had to tell Nurul, ” We HAVE to go for SANDAL SHOPPING!”
We have been scouting around for a nice pair of sandals but it proved quite troublesome as either the price was too expensive or the design was too plain. Thank God there is Pedro!
Pedro is indeed a haven for any men who love their footwear. Pedro, the male arm of Charles & Keith, provides class, style & comfort. Please do not head on down to Aldo. They are overrated, overpriced and have lesser stylish designs than Pedro. (You can ask Alvin where he got his pair of loafers from; beautiful and at even cheaper price.)
Well I was filled with envy as i continually stared at this beautiful cream loafers. But I had to stay focussed to my original plan, to find the PERFECT Sandals. Both for formal and casual attire. There were many stylish sandals but I have to agree with Nurul that a Formal sandal will only look formal if it had a strap at the back of the heel. It provides a classy look especially nice with pants. Take a look at this pair. Priced at $39. I consider it a nice steal.
For casual, I knew I wanted a slip on. One that is easy for me to slide into it comfortably. And yet, I wanted style. But praise to Pedro, they had this alluring deep red mahogany coloured sandals. The design is interesting & really comfortable. But the best part about it was that it had deep tough groove on the bottom of the sandal. Vital for the absolute sandal torturer like myself. It goes for $45.
Two pairs of sandals for under S$100. A worthy buy don’t you think? Now, I’m gonna hide them from abah.
