It’s been quite a while now since I posted my last post. Ever since I’ve started my new work, it’s been an overwhelming week for me. I love my new job. But it’s still early and I know I tend to have this tendency that soon I will get bored. However, ever since I’ve started my new job, my schedule have been jammed pack. I even get my work schedule emailed to my personal email daily. Just a hint of how hectic my future life is going to be.
Anyways, I’ve yet to blog about a lotion I’ve been using for months now. It is not my favourite lotion, but I would like to do a review that is justifiable for it. Garnier BodyLight Whitening Hydrating UV Lotion.

Many are attracted to whitening lotions because we are obsessed about being fair. Unlike our western counterparts, we somehow crave to be fair. Well, atleast a little bit fairer. Although I am content with my skin colour, the sun do get to me. Eventhough I am all covered up most of the time, I can grow dark very fast. Therefore, I am particularly obsessed with a good whitening lotion.
Most whitening lotion does a fair job of whitening or atleast give us a good protection against the sun as well as performs in moisturising our skin. The Garnier BodyLight Whitening Hydrating UV Lotion is a mediocre whitening product. Compared to the more popular Nivea Whitening Lotion, Garnier BodyLight is very diluted. To me, it does not give that ‘umph!’when whitening is concerned. As for moisturising, I find that the skin on my legs lack enough moisture eventhough I lather myself with moisturiser after every shower.
Garnier BodyLight Whitening Hydrating UV Lotion simply doesn’t perform for me. The only reason I’ve been using it for the past few months is because I’ve wasted about S$20 on it. Probably, the only good thing that comes out from it, is that the lotion gives out a lemon-like smell after application and lasts throughout the day.
My hunt for a good whitening cum moisturising lotion is not over yet. I’ve bought a new bottle of whitening lotion from Johnson ‘n’ Johnson. We’ll see how that goes.

Not that I’m impressed a lot, but this is a lot more than I expected for when I found a link on Furl telling that the info here is quite decent. Thanks.
