Kose Seikisho Mask White

I bet most women have seen Kose Seikisho Mask White in department stores. I have and I’ve always been intrigued by the product. A black mask claiming that it has whitening benefits. On top of it all, its a mask for clogged pores.

Well, recently I received a few samples from CozyCot and it includes the Kose Seikisho Mask White. Although, I’ve longed to try the product, I’ve never got around to trying it as I’ve plenty of pore tightening masks lying around my home.

I was definitely thrilled when I saw inside my samples pack was a tiny tube of Kose Seikisho Mask White. I’ve read and heard plenty raves about it.

The product definitely does wonders. After putting it on for about 20 plus minutes (I had to wait for the mask to dry. DUH!) I find my face clearer and brighter. Also, I look like I was fresh out of bed (like how a morning person will look like) when in actual fact, I was using the mask in the middle of the night, around 1-ish am.

While peeling the mask off, I was obviously surprise to see my clearer and brighter skin. Although, I might be dreaming as it was very late. However, the pain of peeling the mask off is torture! I know I’ve endured waxing, threading and epilating, so what is mask peeling right? Well, I actually have very little tolerance for pain. Half-way through the peeling process I was tearing up. I actually thought of quitting but I do not want to look like someone who actually tripped and fell into mud all night long. On top of that, the mask has tightened and I wasn’t able to move my facial features much. Yeaps! So that’s it, I peeled off the mask slowly. It took me about 15 minutes just to get it all off my face.

Other than the torturing process of removing the mask, I find the product worthy. Priced at S$34, you have to be extremely generous when applying the mask.

P.S. I will stick to wash off masks as I’ve endured enough torture from waxing and threading. :p

Oh that looks painful! But I guess vanity requires pain, right? :D So envious that you get stuff from CozyCot!

I love this mask! However, I learned the hard way as you did about the peeling off process. The trick is to put it on thick and it is much easier to peel off and barely hurts. I have a rather fuzzy face, too.
Try it again~ it does work wonders for the clogged pores!

i agree with elle. i applied it thickly, and had no pain when peeling — felt like most peel off masks. one spot where it was applied a little thin did hurt slightly more — like taking a band-aid off. i feel refreshed & after one use i see improvement. i’m keeping with it!
