Lifestyle Skin Assessment with IMEDEEN
Last Saturday, I was invited by the good people of OneNine57 Beautique at Ngee Ann City to a blogger event for the IMEDEEN woman. It was definitely an eventful event as I not only get to do a lifestyle skin assessment test but also a really insightful talk on beauty and how we can achieve it from within.
The people from OneNine57 Beautique were really accommodating as I was given a run-through on my lifestyle assessment and skin problems. We’re taught simple techniques on tell tale signs of ageing. For instance, to spot fine lines all you need to do is, push your cheeks lightly upwards with your index finger. After that, you do a 10 second pinching test at the back of your palm to test for suppleness.
Of course, at 24 years I do not have any problems with fine lines and lack of suppleness. But I was told that the onset of ageing is……………. argh!!! A few months away. Apparently, along with the quarter life crisis comes ageing. At 25 years.
Therefore, I was recommended the IMEDEEN Radiant Complexion. It is for women ages 25 to 35 years. Aside from the lifestyle skin assessment, I did a dermascan on my arm. At barely 25 years, I was told that my skin lacks foundation. My dermis (the area under the visible top layer of the skin – Epidermis) lacks collagen and elastin.
