Lookbook: Fashion Recession #2
A quick check in my closet shows that my most recent purchase is my Topshop leggings. Hmmm.. It’s not really a bargain buy at $40 plus but Topshop has pants and leggings for my size. Although I think I might have bought it a size bigger than I’m supposed to. Anyways, it doesn’t matter, it fits and I’m sure somewhere down the road I’m going to put on more weight and I sure will be glad that I bought it in one size bigger.

Back to the point, this post is about fashion and the recession. So, as I mentioned, the only expensive in the above outfit is from Topshop. The rest were bargain dealers from This Fashion and Cotton On.
- Checkered babydoll dress from This Fashion
- Long Sleeve Black Tee from Cotton On
- Legging from Topshop
- Black Hijab/Tudung from Geylang Serai Market
- Green floral brooch bought from a colleague
- Green killer stilettos from Go Jane
- Oversized green tote – MINE

That checkered babydoll dress is sooo cute! How much did you get it for? I’ve always wondered about leggings on a hijabi, but I think you carried it off very well

Nur: I can’t remember how much it cost but u can get it at This Fashion.
Hi
I feel the dress is nice, but the leggings are too tight. Not so modest.
You would still look as good if it were paired with wide leg slacks or flares.
