Being a beauty junkie is not healthy for ones’ wallet. As a beauty junkie myself, I can definitely vouch for this.
Barely into the first week of September, I am already down to a couple of hundred dollars. :S
But somehow I could not help myself but to purchase another acne treatment or another skincare product (Oh, who am I kidding? I just can’t help myself from shopping. Period!)
I was looking around for a good concealer cum acne treatment when I chanced upon an article featuring various two-in-one concealer in last couple of week’s Urban. Of course the one product that catches my eye was the Murad Acne Treatment Concealer.

I’ve read plenty of rave reviews about products from Murad. From newspapers, magazines, advertorials, editorials and even on beauty forums.
The only thing that was stopping me from purchasing it was the moolah.
So, when payday came, I decided to head down to purchase the product myself.
When I stepped in BHG at Bugis Junction, I was determined to only purchase the Acne Treatment Concealer. But after reading more about Murad, I decided to buy the Acne Treatment trial kit for my fourth sister – Naqibah (she has very bad Acne problem you see).
Then, I was suckered into topping up my already $100 over purchase so that I could get myself Murad’s membership card.
Hhmmm, thus I ended getting myself another lip balm – Murad’s Energizing Pomegranate Lip Protector SPF 15.

The damage was $170.50.
-
Murad’s Energizing Pomegranate Lip Protector SPF 15 @ $39.50
-
Murad’s Acne Treatment Concealer in Medium @ $42.00
-
Murad’s Blemish Complex Kit @ $89.00
Now, I pray that my blemishes disappears and the kit works on my sister’s sensitive-prone skin.

P.S. I will soon blog about the products above to see whether they really live up to the ratings.

Whoa babe… sounds like my usual shopping trip… go out intending to get ONE thing… and land up getting TONS more than expected.

Must… restrain….
