Lookbook: Inspired by Michael Jackson
Like I have said recently, I owe plenty of post. Some of them date as far back as Halloween. Yes people, I have been lazy.
This particular post was supposed to be out on Halloween or maybe the day after. But because yours truly is a busy bee, she didn’t have the luxury to sit down to blog on a daily basis.
So here I am, blogging my night away and scheduling them for you lovely and wonderful readers.
Now, some of you on my Facebook might have notice that a certain outfit I threw on looks like as if I’ve been MJ-fied.
Well, on Halloween, that was exactly who I wanted to be. My whole outfit was inspired by Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson, the deceased King of Pop, made military jackets cool once again. Unfortunately, the trend only picked up after his demise.
Anyways, he not only made the military jacket trendy once more, he also made the red pants look hot! Remember his red leather pants from Thriller?
A quick google can show you that a couple of celebrities have been seen sporting the red pants - below we have the cute Katie Holmes and the rocking Kelis.
Meanwhile the military jacket was seen on everyone everywhere. Rihanna and Beyonce are among those who decided to dress as a tribute to Michael Jackson’s unique sense of fashion.
I myself am loving the military jacket trend. Especially during this rainy season, sunny island Singapore can get a bit cold when indoors of course. 
My military jacket retailing at S$89.90 (I know its a steal for a denim jacket right?!) was purchased at Bershka which opened recently at ION Orchard. Yeah! A new shopping center to die for. Literally! I loved it there!
Whereas, my red pants were from two seasons ago from Mango at a price I can’t really remember.
