Wedding snippets: Hen Party!

One of the best part about a wedding is the bachelor and bachelorette party. So of course, I too had my own HEN PARTY! While Fai had his “boys night out”.

The hen party was organised by one of my dearest girlfriends, S. Together with R and M, S planned the awesomest hen party for me.

The hen party was exactly six days before the solemnisation and it was held at Nabins

I gathered my closest girlfriends for this event. They consist of my secondary school (high school) pals, my college mates and the plus-ones of Fai’s closest buddies (we became good friends because of them).

So, what is a hen party? It is all about celebrating and embarrassing the ‘bride-to-be’.

I was made to wear a fluffy tiara which I later on gave to my little niece (and she wore it when she walked down the aisle as my lead flower girl).

Meanwhile, my guests and girlfriends pasted labels all over me – Makeup addict, Reporter, Mrs Dugong (Fai’s nick in college), Minah Sepet (small eyes) and many more.

A party would not be a party without games and one of them was called ‘Espanyol’. Well, basically ‘Espanyol’ was word of the night. And every time someone shouts ‘Espanyol’ I had to go up to a random stranger picked by the person who shouts it and inform them I am getting married. I also had to carry a giant poster of Fai along with me.

But the highlight of the night was a pair of giant pinata boobies made by M! And inside were urrrmmmmmmm……
