Well  guess we all just love Zac Efron. Once again, girls around the world are screaming at the very mention of him. Haha. WILD CHILD

Upon the suggestion of my cute lil cousin Syaza & of course not forgetting my dear Nurul, we went to catch Wild Child starring Emma Roberts & the soon to be sought after heart throb Alex Pettyfer. It touches on the same genre but trust me, there’s more beneath the surface.

‘Always, always, always a Bridesmaid’

27 Dresses is officially one of my favourite chic flick movies. I teared at the happy ending. Yes. For all of you who have not watched it yet, 27 Dresses ends with a happy ending. If by telling you all these, spoils the whole essence of watching the movie, then don’t watch it. For hopeless romantics like me (WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?)

27 Dresses is about Jane who has been a bridesmaid for 27 times and how she wrestles with the idea of standing by her sister’s side as her sibling marries the man she’s secretly in love with and Kevin who gets on Jane’s nerves half the time, but somehow always manages to put a smile on her face.

The cast was wonderful and the storyline tugs at your heartstrings. Also, the comedic timing was impeccable. You just can’t help yourself laughing along with the actors and actresses. There were also moments whereby I think I could relate to Katherine Heigl’s character Jane (sibling rivalry and all that). James Marsden was absolutely charming as the romantic cynic writer Kevin Doyle (Malcolm Doyle) for The New York Journal column ‘Commitments’. Imagine, here is one guy who doesn’t believe so much in romance is able to write the most romantic lines about someone else’s weddings. On the other hand, there is Jane, a hopeless romantic who loves the ‘Commitments” writer for all the wonderful things he wrote, but in person, loathes him. Also, not to miss in this movie is Jane’s cute boss George (whom she is secretly in love with) acted by Edward Burns and her loyal but bitchy friend Casey (Judy Greer).

A heartwarming romantic comedy with a happy ending that will bring you to tears. Finally, a date movie both men and women will enjoy.
