Nivea for Men

Hey readers, sorry for the long delay but have been kinda caught up with work. But am back and lets get this review rolling. The other day, Nurul and I were buying groceries at NTUC Fairprice Eastpoint when we chanced upon this amazing offer by the cashier. You can thank Nurul for busily reading the Gossip magazines on the side racks! As i stood there looking at the items, i found Nivea for Men facial products. It was a saver pack with both the facial wash and moisturiser going at only $20. The moisturiser alone is going for a cool $17 by itself.

Black Beauty: LG KS20

Well, Nurul is currently head over heels with this new phone. Don’t know why, cause i still love my Motorola V3XX. For all it’s imperfections, lost button pad and its surprisingly abnormal hanging; I still find it the perfect phone for me. Oh well!

The hype of the iPhone by Apple has already reached to it’s frenzy peak. Singaporean can’t wait for the phone to be released and i have already seen a few out there on the streets. Certainly being bought online or from helpful friends living overseas. I caught a glimpse of the iPhone (or rather I was peeping over this woman’s shoulder while eating dinner with Nurul at Eastpoint Banquet recently. Hehe! If the woman whom I peeped over is reading this, am sorry but you do have a nice phone. I saw nothing else. :) )

Han River Barbeque Restaurant

Just the other day i decided to bring my friends out for some good dinner to whet our cravings and appetites. At first, I was pondering over Mak’s Place or Genki Sushi but finally decided to bring them over to Han River.

Han River is basically a copycat of Seoul Garden. However, the food to me is much better (the seasoning is wonderful especially the Sze Chuan chicken and not forgetting the crab balls! Yummy!) and the price is cheaper with even better more attentive service.

Well the cost for 6 people (Ashley, Irfan, Firdaus, Azima, Nurul and me) came up to approximately $160. Around $25 dollars person (way cheaper than Seoul Garden) and drinks came in jugs at $10 each. Irfan had a whole jug to himself, or rather two. Haha.

The highlight of the dinner were the squid and seafood (super fresh and good), the Sze Chuan chicken (once you taste it, you always want more.), the veggies (wonderful leafy veggies) and the fried crab balls. Also the sushi was delightful especially the Squid maki. To top it all off, a round of fruits and ice kachang with loads of condensed milk did the trick to finally quash our appetites (unfortunately the ice cream ran out, a pity). Overall, we went home happy and certainly full. Gonna fast the next few days. Haha! Check it out people, certainly one not to miss.
