Spaghetti Too-RIFIC!

Published by FaiNur under Lifestyle

Well, Nurul & I were at IMM recently for a job interview. Honestly, who ever said Jurong East is a dead town? Certainly not! Especially when there’s IMM around. This place is huge as many shops including offices are found in the building. There’s tonnes of shopping to do thanks to the many outlet stores like Esprit & BYSI to name a few. The best part is that there is tonnes of delicious halal eateries too! We were like two kids in a candy shop as we tried to decide what should we have. Hei Sushi? Red Ginger? Bali Thai? The list went on till we reached Spaghetti Too! We were gonna give it a pass until we saw a Halal sign displayed on it!

J’s Wok & Grill

Published by FaiNur under Lifestyle

Firstly, to all our fellow Muslim readers, have a wonderful Ramadhan. We have successfully cleared 15 days of fasting. Thus, while driving around Bedok, pondering over what should we have to break fast, i then suggested to eat at J’s Wok & Grill Place. (Special thanks to Izwah for telling us the location of the place.)

Chako Restaurant

Chako Restaurant

I guess you all should have known by now that i brought Nurul to Chako Japanese Restaurant for her birthday.

So what is Chako?

It’s a quaint rustic totally authentic and the best Japanese restaurant that I have ever tasted in Singapore. Chako is run by a nice Japanese family that certainly serves home-made original scrumptious meals. And the big plus point is that their HALAL (no cert tho. The food is halal but they do sell alcoholic drinks.) A gem of a place and you can feel the difference with just one bite. Indeed, it revealed to me that Genki Sushi & Ramen Ten are pure frauds to the real deal. Just have a taste of Chako’s sushi and you will immediately know what i mean!

McDonald’s Spicy Chicken Nuggets & Golden Onion Rings

Published by FaiNur under Lifestyle

Hehe. What? I know, i know. Am trying to cut down on fast food. However, i couldn’t resist the other day when i saw the ad of Kung Fu Panda (Must catch it soon!) Promotion of Golden Onion Rings ( I was fasting as well on that day so had a few temptations; Onion Rings being one of them.) It looked soooo juicy and crunchy that it cause me to salivate immediately.
