Face of the Day: Eid Day 5 look
First of all, welcome to my first ever FOTD (face of the day). I’ve been wanting to do something like this for ages. Before I proceed, once again, Eid Mubarak and Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all my muslim readers and friends.
Now, since I’m an amateur at applying makeup, this the best FOTD I can come up with. I was going for a simple fresh look with eyeshadows to match my outfit (unfortunately, my eyes are too small for eyeshadow colours to be seen).
Since I’m not reviewing any specific makeup or brand and since I’ve limited makeup supply, below are the products I have available/used for my first ever FOTD.
Let’s talk Mineral Makeup
We’ve heard a lot of raves about mineral makeup. This year, when Revlon introduced their range of mineral makeup I was thrilled. I am a big Revlon fan. Actually I am just a big fan of affordable makeup that doesn’t have any reaction to my skin. I thought to myself, maybe I should just get one for myself. Lucky for me, a friend bought me a set of Revlon’s ColorStay® Mineral Foundation for my birthday.
